The best compliment.
A few days ago, one of my good friends told me that I have the same kind of electric touch you might get from touching a child.
This struck me as one of the most interesting comments I’ve ever heard.
Of course, I asked him to explain. He said that despite being one of the most grown-up, down-to-Earth 15 year old people he knew, I had the same touch as a child. The excitement in my eyes, the faith in my heart, and the love I put into everything I do. The simplicity of my ideas. The purity of my thoughts. The sincerity to my actions.
The spark of my very touch.
I’m not sure if anyone else would call that a compliment, but I sure took it as one. And surely one that I won’t forget.
By the way, I guess some people don’t know what the touch is. Maybe it’s sensitive to certain people. Has anyone else ever felt an electric kind of feeling from the touch of a child, or anyone else for that matter?
